Working on the book

SUMMARY
In beginning any mission endeavor prayer is the only thing that is on the top of the agenda. Until God speaks and agrees that what has been chosen is the right thing to do nothing can be done. When God acknowledges that the mission is the right thing at the right time then the physical work can begin. It really does not matter what the individual is all about. If God is in control there will be very little if anything that gets in the way. Along the way many will be offered the opportunity and they will join in the effort to expose their friends to the saving grace of God. Sadly many will not listen and leave themselves in the position of being left behind. The important thing to remember is that this is not an individual effort. With God at the forefront of any effort to bring more souls to His side everything is possible. Converts will willingly join forces and soon there will be many that are offering the witness of Jesus to friends and neighbors. And therein is the danger.
INTRODUCTION
This place that we call earth is said to have been created by God. "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." No one knows why He did this. In Genesis we are given passage after passage that confirms and details what He did and we are even given a sequential list of events that unfold this creation. "And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day." Within these verses lie the blueprints for effective leadership. For 31 verses we are told what, when, where, and how God created everything. Later, as people have populated the earth and His chosen people are in search of more and more leadership, God places challenges before chosen men and women to determine their own individual mettle. We are shown how people came to rely on God as the ultimate provider and leader that He is. Through hundreds of pages we read about the examples of the chosen few that lead the nation of Israel from their beginning as the tiny group of nomadic people that they were to a mighty nation influencing a large part of the world. We are finally introduced to Prophets of God that attempt to provide the leadership of God to their fellow inhabitants and are most often ignored and held in contempt. Then came Jesus; the Christ, the only son of God, the Prince of Peace, the Savior of the World.
When we are first introduced to Jesus in the New Testament, we are again made privy to the leadership style of God. In the Old Testament we read the passages that detail the leadership that God provided for His chosen people until they turned away from Him and chose to be leaders themselves. In the birth of His son God shows the world that He is still in control and continues to be the ultimate leader. When the time came for Jesus to be the sacrificial lamb, God again shows His leadership by allowing the crucifixion to occur. And when that final moment came, God provided the world with an eternal reminder of His awesome power and majesty. God provided for all who would see the ultimate example of his leadership style, love.
